Atletico Madrid goalkeeper David de Gea has thrown doubt on his proposed move to Manchester United.
The Spaniard was believed to be on the brink of a move to Old Trafford but news of a confirmed deal has been in the waiting.
De Gea is currently training with the Spain squad preparing for the European U-21 championship which kicks off in Denmark on Saturday.
When asked about a possible transfer to Old Trafford, De Gea insists he is only focused on his national duties for now and doubts whether he is the right choice for United.
"Until the Euros are finished and things calm down a bit, I don't know anything," the 21-year-old was quoted as saying in The Sun newspaper.
"I don't know what goalkeepers Alex Ferguson likes. I'm just a normal goalkeeper, a discrete one.
"Being Atletico's goalkeeper is completely different to being United's and I'm not quite sure what he's looking for."
De Gea has became one of the most highly-rated goalkeepers in Europe and is now touted to become Spain's future number one goalkeeper, succeeding Iker Casillas.
